Hello, I’m Jane, a qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and a NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner based at The Garden Room, High Street, Warboys, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. I am also a registered nurse.

The best part of my job is having the privilege to meet people who really want to make changes in their lives, who wish to achieve their goals, and to go on to realise their life’s dreams.

The energy and positivity that encompasses that journey has a profound effect on quality of life.

I was always a “carer” from a very early age. It just seemed to come naturally to want to help others. So, nobody who knew me was surprised when I chose a career in Learning Disability Nursing. What I loved about this was that the philosophy is to enable people to reach their full potential, their desires, their goals. I have lived by this ethos throughout my career.

As with most people, life has not always been easy though and I have been through my fair share of painful, difficult and challenging experiences and situations.

Throughout my adult life I have met lots of people who often experience a high level of stress, anxiety and depression, feelings of loss, loneliness, poor sleep and more. I also witnessed similar pressures within my own family.

I think Hypnotherapy and NLP is an amazing tool and know it works, which makes me determined to support others who want to change their lives for the better.

Throughout my adult life I met lots of people who often experienced a high level of stress, anxiety and depression, feelings of loss, loneliness, poor sleep and more. I also witnessed similar pressures within my own family.

I was always interested in the mind and the theories around positive/power thinking, positive attitudes and resilience. I often wondered what it was that was different between people who coped and managed and people who really, really struggled in similar situations. I knew that those people who struggled did not want to feel the way they did. That’s when I started a Hypnotherapy course. It was a nightmare!!!! I just could not dedicate the time I needed whilst looking after my family and carrying out a full time job, which was a challenge in itself. I gave up the course!

Later a major bereavement changed life dramatically for my family and me and it was after that, that I decided to study hypnotherapy once again. Those personal and professional life experiences have helped me to empathise and connect with people who now seek help with their own challenges. Of course, I continue to face life’s challenges just the same as everybody else but now I have a better knowledge and understanding of how our brains work and how we can better cope with what life throws at us.

I have since gained qualifications in NLP and a number of other therapeutic interventions. I passionately believe that these methods and tools are amazing and work so well in a safe, gentle and efficient way.
